Telma G. Laurentino
ResearcherI am an evolutionary biologist with a PhD in evolutionary and ecological processes of adapatation to environmental change in the wild. I strive to put detailed biodiversity research at the service of sustainable, biodiverse, and just futures. One of my favourite approaches includes multisensory public education with, and for, diverse communities, promoting belonging through biodiversity (see evALLution project with people with blindness). Socio-ecological research offered me a framework that entangles and potentializes my transdisciplinary passions.
Currently, I am part of the WISE HORIZON narrative project, researching narratives that can encode future economies centered on Wellbeing, Inclusion and Sustainability. I aim to apply life-aligned, ecological, praxis to the process of co-creating new future paradigms with communities of (bio)diverse stakeholders.
