Miguel Cruz

I received a Ph.D. in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution from the University of Lisbon in 2026, during which I studied how competition for food and reproductive interference jointly determine coexistence between closely related spider mite species, as well as how evolution in sympatry alters the outcome of these interspecific interactions. I am currently working as a lab technician in the ACE and EA groups, performing experiments within the DYNAMICTRIO and HotPest projects.
