Cecilia De Sanctis
PhD StudentCecilia De Sanctis is conducting a Ph.D. in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution (BIODIV) by the University of Lisbon starting in 2026 within the Integrative Wildlife Ecology and Conservation research group of CE3C . She is conducting the project Predator on the loose: Unraveling the Ecological Impact of the Invasive American Mink in Portugal, under the supervision of Dr. Luis Miguel Rosalino (CE3C) and Dr. Alejandro Eduardo Jorge Valenzuela, Professor at National University of Tierra del Fuego Ushuaia, Argentina. Cecilia De Sanctis Ph.D. project aims are: exploring mink’s diet, its predation/competition impacts on native species, its potential role as parasite host, and its spatial ecology.
