Luciane da Costa Barbé

Inácio's mother. Faculty member at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences (ICA) of the Federal University of the Jequitinhonha and Mucuri Valleys (UFVJM), working with Agricultural Sciences programs. Permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Rural Studies (PPGER) at the same university. Holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Plant Production (Agricultural Engineering and Economics) from the Darcy Ribeiro State University of Northern Rio de Janeiro (UENF). Worked on Technical Assistance and Rural Extension projects with CEDRO (a cooperative for consulting, projects, and services in sustainable development) in Rio de Janeiro. Has experience in the fields of Rural Extension, Family Farming, and Agroecology.
