history of biology
I received my PhD in Philosophy in 1991 from the University of California, San Diego and am currently a Professor in the History and Philosophy of Science Department at the University of Pittsburgh. I am currently engaged in research on the history of the genotype phenotype map over the past 100 years, focusing on mutants, such as Bar Eye, in Drosophila.
