Bárbara is a MSc Student working on the MSc thesis project "Investigating NFIX as a regulator of myogenic differentiation in LAMA2-MD patient derived myoblasts.", under the supervision of Dr. Susana Martins and Dr. Sólveig Thorsteinsdóttir at the Extracellular Mechanisms of Disease (EMDD) and Molecular Mechanisms of Disease (MMD) research groups of CE3C.
