Baltazar Venegas-Mora is a biologist and a student in the Master of Science program with a concentration in Zoology at the University of Concepción in Chile. He began his graduate studies in 2026 under the supervision of Pedro Cardoso (Laboratory of Integrative Research). His research focuses on invasion biology, using spiders as a model organism. His main interests include understanding the mechanisms that facilitate the establishment and expansion of exotic species, as well as evaluating their effects on host communities and ecosystems.
