I received my Ph.D. in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution from the University of Lisbon (2026). My research focuses on mammal ecology in human-altered landscapes, movement ecology, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable forest management. During my Ph.D., I collaborated with FSC-certified forestry companies to evaluate sustainable forest management practices and their role in conserving mammal biodiversity, while contributing to environmental compliance and stakeholder engagement. I am also a member of the EUROMAMMALS network, contributing to collaborative research on the movement ecology and conservation of European mammals. My current research aims to improve the understanding of how human activities shape mammal populations and to support evidence-based conservation and sustainable land management.
