Joana F Viana Canelas

I received a Ph.D. in Biodiversity Management, branch Human Ecology and Geography, from the University of Kent in 2022 and I am currently leading the Science Communication Office of CHANGE – Global Change and Sustainability Institute. For over 10 years, my research focused on socio-ecological dynamics linked to land-use systems, agroecology, biodiversity and ecosystem services, giving especial attention to the social, cultural and political dimensions of ecosystems.
