I received a Ph.D. in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution from the University of Lisbon in 2021, under the topic “Linking biological and cultural diversity: a novel approach for urban greenspaces planning and management”. For many years I have been involved in the study of socio-ecological systems, as montado and urban greenspaces. The use of multi-taxa diversity sampling and functional traits approach, along with social sciences tools, provided a more comprehensive perspective of these systems that I plan to bring to the BiMoCS group, with which I am currently working.
