Workshop: ‘Floods and inundation: knowledge-sharing between local authorities’

The Portugal Adaptation Hub, through CE3C’s ClimRisk research group, is pleased to invite you to take part in the workshop ‘Floods and inundation: knowledge sharing between local authorities”, which will take place as part of the 3rd National Meeting of the Covenant of Mayors, organised by ADENE on 26 October in Torres Vedras, from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm.

The workshop will take place from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm in the Multipurpose Room of Building CCC13 at the Centre for Contemporary Culture (R. da Cruz 13, 2560-000 Torres Vedras). The session will include a presentation of the European projects Adaptation Hub and FAIR2Adapt, as well as two adaptation solutions: the renaturalisation of the Ribeira das Vinhas Green Corridor and the retention basin in the Várzea Urban Park.

This will be followed by a peer-learning session, which will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences directly with those responsible for developing these solutions.
