Pedro Macedo
External CollaboratorI’m a climate researcher and social entrepreneur, with training in the area of Planning and Sustainability, working in the Socio-Ecological Transition research group. I have 30 years of experience in facilitating regional and local participatory sustainability initiatives in more than 60 communities, with NGOs, business, universities and local governments. I have a Ph.D. in Climate Change and Sustainable Development Policies (FCUL, 2022) based in climate participatory action research, exploring synergies between community-led initiatives and local governments, supporting the Transition Movement. My current research focuses on regenerative governance.
I am also a Climate Reality Leader trained by Al Gore, ambassador of the Climate European Pact and supporter of the Climate Justice movement.
