I am currently a Master student from the Organismal and Evolutionary Biology MSc at FCUL. I am carrying out my thesis project “Do matings systems shape thermal fertility?”, performing a comparative study with several Drosophila species to understand how remating plasticity and heat-induced sterility interact, testing if and how facultative polyandry can rescue female reproductive success post heat stress. This work will be done under the supervision of Pedro Simões and Leonor R. Rodrigues, in the Local Adaptation in Drosophila lab.
