She is conducting the project "The Impact of Climate Change in the Transmission and Antimicrobial Resistance of Food- and Waterborne Bacterial Pathogens: An Integrated One Health Study in Lisbon and Tagus Valley", under the supervision of Maria Teresa Rebelo (CE3C), Leonor Silveira (INSA) and Ângela Pista (INSA). The main objective of this project is to assess the impact of climate change on the occurrence, persistence, transmission, virulence and antimicrobial resistance of food- and waterborne bacteria (Salmonella spp., Escherichia coli, Vibrio spp., Yersinia enterocolitica, Shigella spp., and Listeria monocytogenes), in the Portuguese region of Lisbon and Tagus Valley.
