External CollaboratorI am an Associate Professor at the University of La Laguna (ULL). My research aims to understand which are the main drivers of biodiversity in different biogeographical areas and ecosystems by analysing the different components of biodiversity (taxonomic (TD), phylogenetic (PD) and functional diversity (FD)), using spiders as model organisms. I also conduct research on the study of evolutionary biology, focusing on adaptive radiations by combining molecular and morphological approaches.
